Obituary

Sandra (“Sandy”) Marie Russell, 80, of Taberg, New York, passed away on September 20, 2026.
Born on November 30, 1945 in Tupper Lake, New York she was the daughter of Wilbur and Rachel Jock (Sauvie).

She was mother to a daughter, Angela (Shawn) Butler, and Spencer (Audrey) Russell, grandmother to Nathan (Kisten) Butler, Tiffany (Nathan) Pimpinella and great grandmother to Dawson and Prairie Butler. Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, a daughter, Dori Rachel Russell, a sister, Dorothy Exware and a brother, John Jock. 

Sandra spent her life being a loving and dedicated mother and grandmother and being a faithful member of the Rome North Congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses.

She will be remembered for kindness, strength, humor, faith, and for her love of birds, puzzles and games.
