Obituary

Lonnie W. Dahl Sr., 83, of Canastota, died peacefully at the Hospice Siegenthaler Center in New Hartford, NY on May 4, 2025.

Lonnie was born in Syracuse, NY to the late Raymond and Helen (VanBramer) Dahl. Lonnie was a proud veteran who served his country in the Army and the Air National Guard Reserves from (1959-1976).

Lonnie was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Helen Dahl, his wife Patsy Dahl, brothers, Richard Dahl and Donald Dahl. He is survived by his children, Lonnie Dahl Jr.(Bridget), Timothy Dahl(Julie) and Carol Biaza(Isaac). Two sisters Loretta Miller, Joann Selen, several grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to express their gratitude to the staff at the Siegenthaler Hospice Center for their comforting and compassionate care of our father.

Respectfully keeping with Lonnie’s wishes, there will be no services.
